Åland Islands

The Aland Islands is an autonomous region of Finland  however most of the people speak Swedish. Aland's economy is heavily dominated by shipping, trade and tourism. Just enjoy the beautiful view of sunset from the postcard to imagine how impressive the island is. Fishing is not only an important aspect of the food industry in the islands, but also parts of life for relaxing both for local residences and tourists. Robert wrote on the postcard he once caught a big Perch of 3.2 Kg! Amazing! :) The Aland Islands issues its own stamps that different from Finland. Thank you very much Robert, for the nice postcards and stamps! :)

  1. This bass is a colossus. My grandfather was the largest bass caught in the winter. He had less than a kilogram. Nice cards :-))
