Historic Centre of Oporto

Porto (or Oporto) is the second largest city in Portugal. It was built along the hillsides overlooking the mouth of the Douro river with a history of 2,000 years.
Porto is famous for its historic monuments and the Port wine. The historic center and the wine regions around it are both recognized by UNESCO as World Cultural Heritage Sites.  In 2012, CTT issued a sheet depicting a typical view of the old parts of Porto and the Douro river. Many many thanks to friend Vitor for his great efforts: he have prepared some postcards for me and then sent them back from the local post offices to make sure they are "original"!  I appreciate it so much, a true philatelist. The stamp on the first card is special to me too: 500 years of China - Portugal relationship.
