Picking flowers on Nymphaea lake
Two children are on a lake full of Nymphaea. Seems they are brother and sister, one is boating and the other picking flowers. In this Buddhist country, Nymphaea symbolizes clean, honest and holy. But maybe they pick the flowers just for living. Really a peaceful and impressive photo taken by Chan Dara! This is the Takeo province of Cambodia, which is often referred to as the "cradle of Khmer civilization". Many thanks to my friend Pat for this great postcard!
