Volcano and Birds, Costa Rica

Many thanks to Noe for these colorful postcards sent from Costa Rica! The Arenal Volcano near San Jose is a part of the National Park with the same name and it is still active, the first card shows some photos of the eruptions. Note that Noe also used a stamp features the volcano too :).  The National Park is also home to many species identified in Costa Rica of course including some beautiful birds. Such as the elusive one of the country, Resplendent Quatzal as shown on the first photo of the second card. Some others are Woodpecker, Toucan, Macaw, Jacana and Hummingbirds. The nice flower stamps are very special too, one of which depict Guarianthe skinneri, a kind of orchid also the national flower of Costa Rica.
