Trinidad is one of the two major islands composing the Republic of Trinidad and Tobago, actually it occupies nearly 93% of the whole territories of the country. Checking map, you may find this island country in the northern edge of South America, just very closed to northeast parts of Venezuela. I would like to thank Reinelle for sending me this nice postcard franked with beautiful stamps! With the national flag in the background, the postcard features the map of the Trinidad Island decorated with photos show some different aspects of the country: monument, folk custom, landscape and so on.Note that the stamp of face value $3.75(TTD) depicts the most beautiful beach of Tobago Island, the Pigeon Point. It is also the home to the famous thatch-roofed jetty which now is a symbol of Tobago recognized internationally.
