World Heritage Sites in China (1) - Sichuan Giant Panda Sanctuaries

The giant panda is a rare animal peculiar to China and a valuable treasure great nature leaves to mankind. The animal is especially lovely for its fat body with black and white hair, round face, elegant bearings and honest manners.
On July 12, 2006, the habitat centered around Wolong, Sichuan Province, was listed as a "World Nature Heritage " site by the Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization of the United Nations (UNESCO). Since then, the existence and protection of the giant panda had drawn the attention of the people around the world.
Through the following set of postcards, I am going to share with you this lovely animal, and the beautiful landscapes of Wolong, the Siguniang and Jiajin Mountains.
