Northern Cyprus, please visit here. With the aid of postal system ”PTT"
of Turkey, letters franked with its own stamps, can be delivered
internationally, although the stamps are considered as “illegal”, according to
the rules of UPU. I am really glad to receive one postcard sent from this
territory, which shows St Barnabas' Monastery located in Famagusta. The stamp
on the right shows the founder and former President Rauf
Denktaş. Many thanks to Filiz, who lives
in Turkey and often visit this island to see her family there, much appreciated!
