Nomadic Mongolia

Mongolia is a landlocked country and it borders Russia to the north and China to the south, east and west. It is the 19th largest and the most sparsely populated independent country in the world and much of the territory consists of steppes.  As part of Eurasian nomads, Mongolian domesticated the horse, and their economy and culture emphasizes horse breeding, horse riding, and a pastoral economy in general. Horse riding is especially central to Mongolian culture. In summer, most Mongolian children spend their holidays with relatives in the countryside. During these three months the children have the greatest fun riding on the back of horses. Thank you very much my Mongolian friend Robert, for these special postcards! The lovely child is the most impressive, much appreciated !
