Dubai by Night

Most of my received postcards from Dubai are about the city's luxury 7-Star hotel- the Bruj Al Arab, so it was really happy to find this one in my mail box, which shows a stunning panoramic view of the city by night. Thank you very much Weny! :-) The city looks very big and flourishing and it is hard to imagine that it is built in the desert. Its Burj Khalifa is the tallest man-made structure in the world. The stamp on the right was issued in 2012 to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Al Ahmadiya School, which was established in 1912 and the fist regular school in Dubai. Now the school is a museum of education.
